Team of the Year versions of Johan Cruyff and Eusebio have been released on FC Mobile, two exceptional cards that deserve a thorough review.

Both cards are available on the market and can be claimed in the Team of the Year event exchange for 1000 Shards each. But which card is better?

INTRODUCTION

I personally tested both cards, both in VSA and H2H mode, both at level 25 with red rank and for both I chose the dexterity boost.

I used them together in the same formation, in my 352. I used them together precisely to avoid having a match with an unfavorable script (even if many insist that the script does not exist) and to have a better idea of which of the two was better.

VSA AND H2H

They are two very different game modes, in which I initially had a very clear idea about which of the two was better. But after many matches my idea was completely overturned.

JOHAN CRUYFF

Johan Cruyff's first strength, visible to everyone, is his OVR. If you mainly play VSA mode, you know how important it is to have players with high OVR in your team. But that's not all.

Cruyff's card has 5 stars weak foot, 5 stars skill moves and 4.5 stars stamina. Definitely the best features if you are looking for a versatile striker who can handle the offensive department of your team on his own.

He is probably one of the smoothest players I have ever tested. With his acceleration you will be able to lose the opposing defenders before they can even tackle him.

The shot, although it seems to have lower stats than Eusebio, is another strong point. His 5 stars weak foot, it is not always like this, I can guarantee accuracy and strength with both feet. The power shots with his left foot, the real test for this type of player, are very accurate.

More features at the end of the post in the final comparison between the two cards.

EUSEBIO

I would probably have appreciated if Eusebio's card could be claimed with a smaller amount of shards. Maybe 600-750 would have been a fair amount.

Eusebio's card also has 5 stars weak foot, but only 4 stars skill moves, not a drama though. Stamina is also different, with Eusebio having 5 stars. In any case, he also has all the characteristics of the ideal striker.

The real drama comes with his smoother. Unfortunately this version of Eusebio does not have the Speed Dribbler trait, present in his other versions and, despite having good stats, sometimes he seems a little slow in dribbling and movements.

Obviously the comparison is with the Cruyff card, otherwise it seems decidedly better than many other cards. Maybe behind only Cruyff and the Ballon d'Or version of Ronaldo.

The shot looks good but, despite being more powerful than Cruyff's, his left foot is sometimes not very accurate. He will probably avoid the power shots with his left foot but I would stick to the finesse shots only.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TWO CARDS

They are two exceptional cards, for the final judgment or my personal advice read the last part of the review.

Probably if I had judged only the stats I would have chosen Eusebio, especially for his greater shooting power. But using both in all game modes, I can confirm that the Cruyff card is definitely better.

The combined stats of speed and agility, you can consult my guides on how to choose attackers to understand which stats to look at, should favor Eusebio, but in-game the Cruyff card is much smoother in movement and dribbling.

In terms of shooting, accuracy and power, they seem almost on the same level, with Cruyff providing greater accuracy, however.

RATINGS

I currently give Cruyff a 9.8 rating for his speed and smoother movement. Eusebio probably a 9.6 rating (Ronaldo's Ballon d'Or card would probably be 9.7).

The shot is exceptional for both, but Cruyff's (rating 9.8) is slightly better and more accurate than Eusebio's (rating 9.4).

They are not two very tall strikers, so not particularly suitable if you like the aerial game, even if they perform quite well on crosses.

In terms of passing, Cruyff is definitely better than Eusebio, Cruyff probably deserves a rating of 8, while Eusebio is probably more suited to the finishing phase only.

Physically they are not exceptional, here perhaps Eusebio is slightly better, but they are both two forwards more suited to an entertaining game, with dribbling and a lot of running.

FINAL RATINGS

Cruyff is currently, in my opinion, the best striker in the game, so I think an overall rating of 9.8. Eusebio is also excellent, having them as a pair would be an enviable choice, but he is slightly behind, so a rating of 9.5.

WHO TO CHOOSE?

If you are thinking of spending 1000 Shards to claim one of them, the choice falls on the Johan Cruyff card. Currently the best striker, excellent in all game modes.

Initially I was more oriented towards Eusebio, but the lack of the Speed Dribbler trait, which made him very agile in his movements, seems to have penalized his card, even though he remains among the best strikers in the game.

But this guide is only to compare these two cards. So ultimately, Cruyff's card is definitely the best in the game.
