The new UEFA Champions League players are now available on FC Mobile. As explained in the previous guide, all players will receive an increase in their OVR based on specific conditions.
All players, I repeat this so that it is clear that all UCL 25 players have the opportunity to increase their OVR, they will receive +2 OVR if their team finishes in the top 8, while they will receive +1 OVR if their team finishes between 9th and 24th.
This means that almost all players have the potential to increase their OVR and therefore, with due caution, also be able to obtain a good profit with their investment. The question is: which players to choose and why?
HOW TO CHOOSE PLAYERS
Currently choosing players is like flipping a coin to make heads or tails. There are still 4 matches to go and there are still too many variables to consider. But with a little bit of cunning, you can make an investment with zero risk. What do I mean by zero risk? I mean an investment where you make your bet and, if it goes badly, you get your budget back, if it goes well, you take your profit.
THE PLAYERS I CHOSE
My attention these days has fallen on those players whose teams have only a small chance of qualifying for the next stage of the UEFA Champions League. These are the players I have selected.
This is a list of only 7 players. Below I will explain why it is a good investment with zero risk and which of these I have already started to buy.
RISK-FREE INVESTMENT
The reason why this investment is risk-free is because, by purchasing these players at a cost close to 10M coins, you will have the possibility, in case the player does not get the +1 OVR, to exchange him for 10M in the coins section of the exchanges. In this section, in fact, you can use tradeable players with OVR 94+ in exchange for 10M coins.
So it will be a totally risk-free investment. But what if the player I selected gets +1 OVR instead?
They are all players with OVR 95, which means that, in case of +1 OVR, they will have a base OVR equal to 96. Then you can later use the player in the exchange for tradeable players OVR 96+ in exchange for 15M coins. So a net profit of 5M coins for each card purchased.
WHICH PLAYERS TO CHOOSE
I will not update this post in the next few weeks, I remind you that the last match of the initial phase of the new UEFA Champions League will be at the end of January 2025, so it is a long-term investment. All you have to do is bet on a team, then buy the available OVR 95 player, who you believe can qualify for the next phase (and therefore rank among the top 24 teams).
The selected players currently play in the following teams: RB Leipzig, Feyenoord, Celtic, Young Boys, Shakhtar Donetsk and Sturm Graz. Below is a brief analysis for each team.
RB LEIPZIG
RB Leipzig is currently at zero points and will face Inter Milan, Aston Villa, Sporting Lisbon and Strum Graz in the next matches. Realistically speaking, I think RB Leipzig has little chance of qualifying for the next stage, but the ball is round and therefore anything can happen. At the moment do not buy players from his team, possibly wait for the progress of the next matches.
FEYENOORD
Feyenoord currently have 6 points and will face Manchester City, Sparta Prague, Bayern Munich and Lille in their next matches. It is not yet clear, with this new format, how many points are actually needed to qualify, but I think Feyenoord have a very good chance of qualifying.
So, the Antoni Milambo OVR 95 card, Feyenoord player, is the first zero risk player for this investment. Purchased at around 10M, it could guarantee you a net profit of 5M coins for each card.
CELTIC
Celtic are currently on 7 points and will face Club Brugge, Dinamo Zagreb, Young Boys and Aston Villa in their next matches. They are probably among the lower-tier teams with the best chance of getting +1 OVR in their players.
The card of Nicolas Khun, a Celtic player, is therefore probably among the best choices to make this investment. Unfortunately, other users have also noticed this potential, in fact his card can be purchased for about 12M, therefore with some small risk of loss, allowing you to still obtain a net profit of about 3M coins per card.
YOUNG BOYS
Young Boys are also at 0 points at the moment, and in the next matches they will face Atalanta, Stuttgart, Celtic and Red Star Belgrade. There is some chance of qualification, but you could wait for the progress of the next matches to evaluate your choices. It is still a risk-free investment.
SHAKTHAR DONETSK
Currently, Shakthar Donetsk has 4 points and in the next matches they will face PSV, Bayern Munich, Brest and Borussia Dortmund. They could get 4 points from these matches, maybe more or maybe less, thus reaching 8 points. Will 8 points be enough to qualify? You can wait and evaluate the progress of the matches before making your choices.
STRUM GRAZ
Strum Graz currently has zero points and will face Girona, Lille, Atalanta and RB Leipzig in the next matches. Realistically speaking, I don't see many chances of qualifying, but in football anything can happen. Evaluate how the next matches go.
CONCLUSIONS
Currently the players I have already purchased are Milambo from Feyenoord and Khun from Celtic. I have invested a large amount of coins, especially on Milambo, also considering that it is a risk-free investment. If it goes badly I will recover my coins from the exchange section.
Remember, it is a long-term investment. The last match of the first phase will be at the end of January, so players will probably have their OVR change in the first weeks of February. Players should not be sold, but used in the exchange. Only in this way will you have a zero-risk investment and possibly a great profit. Make your choices.
