If you are a user attentive to market changes, you will surely have noticed that some cards, especially from old events, have prices outside the market. One of these is Cecilio Waterman OVR 90.
One of the most anonymous and useless cards in the game, released in June 2024, is still a real mystery to this day. He was released during the Copa America Event and, despite not having amazing stats or a particular dynamic image, his valuation is off the market.

Searching for the player in the market you will realize that his valuation is excessive, more than 25M for his basic version, and the most worrying aspect is, in addition to having +999 purchase requests, that his valuation remains stable over time.
I personally tried to buy this card several times, but to date I have not succeeded because after a few days the offer expired and I had to get in line again. But its situation still remains a mystery.
CAUSE
Probably, despite not being an excessively old card, this card has disappeared from packs and rewards, and therefore its price has skyrocketed. These are the rules of the market, the rarer or more requested a card is, the higher its price will be.
WHY BUY IT
This is the main question you would like an answer to, the question you probably came to read this post for. The answer is quite simple.
Just look at the prices of its rank versions, with the orange rank version going up to 440M. This means that if you were to buy its base version, using your Mascherano URPs, you could make a nice profit. The Mascherano URP, if used correctly, can be worth around 12M. Using it on Waterman's card to get an orange rank, each Mascherano URP would be worth 20M.
CONCLUSIONS
The Waterman card from the Copa America Event, there are others from this event that are out of market prices, is a rare card that, if you are lucky enough to buy it, could guarantee you a good profit. But be careful, because if EA starts releasing more of this card it will destroy all the potential for profit.
