New icons are now available in the Icon Chronicles event in FC Mobile. This new update, called Hexad, has also changed the original version of the event. You will no longer need to claim daily energy to play matches and skill games, but you will be able to complete both events in a single day.
Both events have a long duration, in fact they will be available for the entire duration of the season (which should end in September 2025) and will allow you to claim a lot of resources to use in the game.
FILE COLLECTION
Both versions of the Icon Chronicles event have a main menu, which in the Hexad version is called File Collection. Both have the function of creating a shortcut to select the various chapters dedicated to each icon player, but in the Hexad version you will also have the possibility of obtaining 200 Detective Points and 400 Universal Tokens.
You can use Detective Points to claim a Chronicles Icon Pack every day, where, with a lot of luck, you can get a Mascherano URP or an OVR 93-99 player. Realistically speaking, we will claim gems or coins every day.
MENU FILE
Unlike the original version of the Icon Chronicles event, where subsequent menus have the name of each icon player, in the Hexad version the chapters are named after file folders. Currently there are only 2 icons available, Roy Keane and Iker Casillas, but you should be able to unlock all the icons in a few weeks.
As with the previous version of the Icon Chronicles event in FC Mobile, you will be able to relive the key matches from the career of the selected player.
At the end of each chapter you will be able to claim a special version of the selected player, and during your journey you will be able to claim other resources for the game (including the URP MAscherano).
CONCLUSIONS
It's a long-running event, so don't rush into it, just spend your free time on it. You should be able to unlock 4 more icons in the coming weeks, and it's not confirmed yet, but it could be David Beckham and Kaka, plus two more icons related to PSG and the England national team.
The final image in the main menu also leaves a bit of mystery, opening the door to much speculation as to whether there will be a sequel with a new chapter in the Icon Chronicles event.
