On FC Mobile choosing a goalkeeper for your team, especially if you don't know some of the game's dynamics, can be disastrous. Unfortunately, as has already happened in past editions of the game, height is still too important a value. With this guide I will show you all the features to look at when choosing a goalkeeper for your team, alternatively you can consult my always updated rankings for this position.
GAME MODES
Before starting the topic it is good to understand what our main game mode is. This does not mean that a goalkeeper good for the VS Attack mode is not good for the Head to Head mode, but sometimes a goalkeeper good for the Head to Head mode is not good for the VS Attack mode.
This is because the VS Attack mode is much more dynamic and we will often find ourselves alone in front of the goalkeeper, therefore with more possibilities to make perfect shots. Something that often does not happen in the Head to Head and Manager modes, in which we will also have defenders to protect the goal.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
A good goalkeeper must first of all be tall, it is useless to use goalkeepers like Campos (I always use him as an example), even with incredible stats it would be like not having a goalkeeper. Having a goalkeeper at least 195 cm tall, if higher better, is the first feature to look at when making our choice. But height is not everything, in fact, sometimes it is inversely proportional to the main attributes.
RANKS AND TRAINING
If you want to become a professional player of FC Mobile you have to start considering this aspect. If you play mainly in the VS Attack mode your goalkeeper must necessarily have the orange rank and a level 30 training, this will allow you to concede fewer goals in some cases. If instead you play mainly in the Head to Head mode, even if the orange rank would guarantee greater safety, the red rank and level 25 training can also be good.
ATTRIBUTES
After evaluating the height of your goalkeeper, what you will have to do is evaluate some stats in its basic version (because then with ranks, training and skill points, which you can consult my guide, they will all go up in the same way).
When I choose my goalkeeper there are two attributes that I look at mainly: reflexes and reactions. Take reference with the best goalkeepers if you want to find cheap alternatives, but generally if these values are close to or above 100 it is already a good start.
Positioning and diving are also attributes to watch, which, while less important in VS Attack mode, are crucial in Head to Head mode. The long thrower trait can help you in Head to Head mode for counterattacks.
CONCLUSIONS
Choosing a goalkeeper is never easy, but with this short guide, if you pay attention to the characteristics that I have shown you, you will be able to choose a good goalkeeper who will guarantee you safety in all game modes.
